Re: Student of the Month
Procedure: Once-a-month, each teacher will choose one (1) student from their class for “The Student of the Month” award based upon: 1) Good attendance (not missed more than one day during the Month- unless a serious illness), 2) No more than one tardy during the month, 3) Good behavior in the class and throughout the building, and/or 4) One or more good deeds toward students and/or staff. The name should be turned in to the office by 10:00 a.m. on the last Wednesday of the month.
Mrs. Murray (our school counselor) and I will meet with all the students chosen on the following Friday and: Give them a certificate Give them a coupon to an eating place Have a picture taken of them as a group Post the picture in the hall and place in the school newspaper G.R.Hill |
