Welcome to the Blythe-Bower Elementary School Family!

We are excited to serve you for the 2011-2012 school year. Blythe-Bower Elementary School is a wonderful institution that serves the needs of elementary students as a part of the Cleveland City Schools System.

Blythe-Bower is a School Wide Title I School due to the fact that approximately 96% of our students are eligible to participate in the Free/ Reduced Lunch Program. At Blythe-Bower Elementary, we strive to serve each student within the framework of the Cleveland City Schools mission:

To develop responsible citizens who will set the standards for excellence in a global society.

At Blythe-Bower Elementary, we believe in the importance of each student and strive to give each child the opportunity to build a strong educational foundation. It is our goal to provide students with a healthy and enjoyable school environment where they are able to grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. It is our belief that through exposure to caring and compassionate educators each child will begin to seek opportunities to become life-long learners. Further, it is our hope for our students to see the value of education and to believe that there are no limits on what they can accomplish.

As we launch into this adventure that will be the 2010-2011 school year, we realize that many factors influence the success of our students. Parents, teachers, administrators, and community members must work together hand in hand to insure the success of each of our students. We hope to continue to receive the positive support of our families and the community throughout this school year. We are so thankful for the support that we receive as teachers and administrators. There is no limit to what we can accomplish with positive attitudes, parental support, and a caring community. These items are tremendous assets as we work to provide a positive learning environment at Blythe-Bower. We look forward to another great year with you at Blythe-Bower as we continue to work together to educate our wonderful students and to make Blythe-Bower a great school.
