Technology Student Association
The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national non-profit student organization that helps students learn about technology through exciting competitive events. TSA members not only have an opportunity to learn technological literacy in the classroom, but they have the chance to extend that learning by preparing projects for regional, state, and national competitions. Teamwork and leadership are learned as students work together on their projects. Some of the competitive events are structural design, dragster design, video challenge, flight challenge, graphic design, and many more. Students are also encouraged to participate in community service projects.A complete list of events and information about the organization can be seen at the Tennessee TSA website - http://www.tntsa.org.
Cleveland Middle School's TSA chapter meets after school. Each member is required to pay local, state and national dues of $20.00. The club sponsors are Darlene and Franklin Odom, technology teachers at CMS.
