6th Grade Art
Art is mandatory for all 6th grade students at CMS. This 9 week basic sizing the elements and principles of design through more complex projects and assignments. Students will focus on specific artists and art periods. Basic supplies include: notebook, pocket folder, pencils, gum eraser, crayons and colored pencils. Drama and theater opportunities at Cleveland Middle School include three major presentations: a Veteran's Day program in the fall, a Holiday drama, and a spring musical. Auditions are open to all CMS students. These are excellent ways to introduce young people, performers and audiences, to the magic of live theater while nurturing character development, group collaboration, and communication skills.7th / 8th Grade Art
