Teen Living
The CMS Teen Living classroom is an opportunity for students to connect technology to everyday living. Sixth graders investigate nutrition, consumer issues, who they are, and personal appearance in a hands-on approach they enjoy. Seventh and Eighth Graders are self-directed in that they use computer-based modules for career exploration, safe equipment operation, nutritional self-evaluation, and other topics which they might be interested in learning. In addition, eighth graders focus on wise money management through the computer software, On Your Own, while seventh graders look at interpersonal relationships and effective communication.
