Cheerleading
Tryouts
Spring (2 squads, usually 12 members on each squad) (Parent meeting announced and advertised prior to tryouts)
Requirements
Teacher recommendation and grade check (must have all high recommendations and no grade lower than a "C")
Practice Times
Required 3-4 times a week after school plus gymnastics once a week (Cheerleaders have locker room and personal lockers)
Games
All football games; In-town and home basketball games; cheer for pep rallies and other special occasions
Experience
Gymnastic and dance experience is desired
