Make a Difference Day
Cleveland Middle School has been actively involved in Make A Difference Day for the past three years by:Collecting over ONE MILLION PENNIES to send to the children of firefighters who lost their life on 9/11;
Participating in Freedom's Answer, the nation's largest attempt by youth to have the greatest voter turnout in history in a non-presidential election year;
And for 2003-04, our greatest undertaking, to build a Habitat for Humanity home for a wheelchair bound couple.
Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others - a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Everyone can participate.

This year's Make A Difference campaign involved a partnership with the American Heart Association. Our students raised $3,727.70. The money will be used to further educate the public to make healthier choices relating to health. |
