About Our School

Mayfield Elementary is part of the Cleveland City School System. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and have received the governor's A+ Award for Excellence in Education. We are also a school-wide Title I school.

Mayfield houses grades K-5 with approximately 450 students. We sincerely hope that each of our students will experience a happy and productive year with all classes enjoying many opportunities for academic, social, and personal growth.

Our school's philosophy is based on the recognition that each child is a unique individual. Attention must be given to all aspects of the student's development in order to accommodate individual needs and to promote the full potential of each child. Please, let's work together and make this a wonderful year for all.

Our Technology plan includes computer classes for grades 3-5 and access to the Success Maker Lab for K-5 (as well as ASU after school). Access to computers in the classroom and library is also available, as well as monthly technology training for classroom teachers.
