Parents and teachers are encouraged to become members of the Mayfield PTO. Membership in the PTO allows parents and teachers to work together to provide programs which benefit Mayfield students.

 

Membership dues are paid each year and provide a class fund for teachers to use for needed materials or activities. Field trips and class incentives are also funded this way.  Family memberships are $5.00. This is an excellent way to show support for the school, and extended family members are also invited to join us.

 

School wide meetings are usually held the same night as other school events, such as Open House. We believe that a working parent group keeps our school alive.  Parents are needed to work as room mothers, to organize the Winter Festival and Field Day events, and to work alongside our faculty and staff. Parent involvement enhances the environment where your children receive guidance, instruction, and nurturing throughout their years at Mayfield.

 

 During the past years our PTO contributed $2,000.00 toward our new sign, $5,000.00 for a climbing wall in the gym and many other dollars toward each classroom.
