You only have one opportunity each week to attend a learning
session in the computer lab unless your classroom teacher brings you in
at other times. Take advantage of this opportunity to sharpen
your technology skills by following these guidelines:
- WALK into the lab quietly and take your assigned seat.
- Remember that another group of students uses the computers each
hour of the day, so be considerate of them by coming to class with CLEAN HANDS.
- Keep your hands free from germs while you are in the lab by
getting a tissue if you need to clean your nose, then
depositing the tissue in the trash can beside the door. Sanitize your hands
before returning to your seat. Never
touch a cut or scab on your skin, causing it to bleed, then touch your
keyboard or mouse.
- Look on the screen for your assignment. The
directions should have your teacher's name or your grade level IF they are
for you. If you do not see your directions,
place your hands in your lap and wait quietly for directions.
- Respect others in the class by keeping all body parts, including
your voice, to yourself unless you have permission to talk.
- Listen carefully to directions and always follow directions as
given.
- For your safety, keep all four legs of your chair/stool on the
floor at all times.
- Keep a positive attitude and treat others the way you would like
to be treated.
- Try to gain as many skills as possible so that you will be able
to enjoy properly using computers at home and school.
