Mayfield School exists to prepare, support, celebrate, and inspire students in a safe, nurturing environment.

Mayfield has been a provider of quality education in the Cleveland community since 1928. The primary purpose for our existence is to provide challenging opportunities for our students to learn and grow, moving them forward on their personal path of success. The faculty and staff at Mayfield take this endeavor seriously and approach each lesson with intentionality and purpose.

As an educator it is exciting to witness the transformation as students engage their senses to draw in information and begin to make connections that lead to other powerful learning. We look forward to an exciting academic experience and the opportunity to serve you and your family at Mayfield Elementary School.

     Different Nests, but all EAGLES!

    Award Eagle

We are so excited to continue our PBIS program!

PBIS (Postitive Behavior Initiative and Support) strives to emphasize the positive things in our school and in our students' conduct.

Our students, faculty, and all staff members are sorted into eagle nests, the Blue Nest, the Red Nest, the Green Nest, and the Yellow Nest. Students get points for being caught doing positive things.  The Nest with the most points each week gets a reward.

BEST Partners

  • B.E.S.T Partners

We are very fortunate in Cleveland City Schools to have tremendous support from our community. The Cleveland Bradley Chamber of Commerce sponsors the Business and Education Serving Together (B.E.S.T) program that provides a formal partnership between business and industry and the schools. We wish to acknowledge our business partners in this report. Because of their commitment to our schools, children have a better environment for learning and teachers are encouraged by their support.

Mayfield is proud to have the following community B.E.S.T. Partners:
