    TEACHER HIGHLIGHT

    Chrystal Morrison

This is my fourth year teaching 2nd grade at Blythe Bower and my ninth year teaching. I was first introduced to Blythe-Bower during my time at Lee University. I was blessed to work with these amazing teachers for both my methods and student teaching placements. I knew then that the teachers at Blythe-Bower were the type of teachers I wanted to teach alongside every day. After graduation, I took a teaching position in Chattanooga, but I always remembered my time at Blythe-Bower. I was so thankful when I was given the chance to join the faculty 5 years later. One of the things that I enjoy most about teaching at Blythe-Bower is the opportunity to bring my own kindergartener to the school that I love.

I love teaching 2nd grade and can't imagine another career. My favorite part of teaching is the lessons my students teach me. They teach me to laugh a little more, worry a little less and that you can never give or get too many hugs.

    STUDENT HIGHLIGHT

    Ramireon Taylor

Ramireon Taylor is an eight year old second grader at Blythe-Bower in Mrs. Morrison’s class.  He began coming to Blythe-Bower in 1st grade, and his teacher in 1st grade was Mrs. Stansberry. Ramireon plays basketball for the Blythe-Bower Bobcats and represents our school with good sportsmanship.  He plays the position of point guard on the team. He hopes to continue playing basketball for CMS and CHS where he can represent the Blue Raiders in the future. His favorite classes in school are P.E. and Computer Technology. Ramireon has a brother that attends CHS.   He loves to practice his basketball skills in his spare time.  He also loves to Beat Box and hopes to continue to improve on his ability.  Finally, Ramireon loves American Huskies and wants to have one as a faithful companion in the future.
