Families making crafts

Our families enjoyed an evening of multicultural learning and entertainment on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Choir students presented a musical performance featuring songs about the fun ways different cultures celebrate the winter holidays. Lesley Avery and her choirs have been practicing for weeks, and their performance reflected their hard work. After the concert, families were invited to participate in craft-making and tasting foods from different countries. Family Engagement Coordinator, Leigh Ann Pesterfield planned and organized this event, and many of the CCCES staff volunteered to assist.  It was a joy to have families in the school building again!
