Summer Programs

Cleveland City Schools offers state-of-the-art summer curriculum and learning for students at many grade levels, not only interventions. It's a great opportunity to make sure students are ready for success during the school year.

Students in grades K-2
Students who are currently in grades K-2 will have the opportunity to participate in our summer program, which will reinforce foundational reading and math skills through engaging and enjoyable lessons. Additionally, we have scheduled time for STEM challenges, recess, and more exciting activities! The program will run from Monday to Thursday, from June 5 to June 29, with classes scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Candy's Creek Cherokee Elementary School.

Students in grades 3-7
Students who are currently in grades 3-7 will have the opportunity to participate in the free, summer academic program. We will have fun and engaging lessons designed around our 'Survivor' theme with time set aside for STEM challenges, Team-Building Games, Recess, and much more! The program will run from Monday to Thursday, from June 5 to June 29, with classes scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30p.m. at Cleveland Middle School.

Cleveland City Schools offers these programs at no cost to families. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided to these students as well. After the enrollment window closes the week of April 24th, students in need of academic interventions will be the priority.
