5th Grade parents: REMINDER - On Thursday, April 7 @ 6:00 p.m. we will host Mr. Akiona (CMS principal) at Mayfield Elementary for a follow up meeting to answer questions and assist with course requests.

Mr. Johnson performed a random act of kindness at Mayfield today when he volunteered to pressure wash our front entrance. It looks fantastic! Mr. Johnson stated that wanted to give back to the school since his children have all attended Mayfield. Thank you so much Mr. Johnson!

Congratulations to this fine group of basketball players from Mayfield! These guys rocked it this season with the Cleveland Youth Basketball League. We are so proud of their teamwork and impressive accomplishments.

Congrats and thanks to Emersyn and Zayvian for representing Mayfield Elementary on the Elementary Advisory Council. These two leaders met with @drrusselldyer and others to discuss matters that are important to elementary students in our schools. Awesome!

Fantastic turnout for our "Writing Letters to Santa" family event last evening. Lots of excitement as families enjoyed cookies, a craft and visiting with ole Saint Nick himself!

How about those generous and compassionate little 'eagles'. Sponsored and promoted by our Beta Club, our students donated 2540 items for the local food drive to serve families in our area. Thank you students and families.

Choosing a storybook character to recreate, Dante took it to the next level by becoming the story. Embedded in Dante’s costume is The Jumping Mouse. Scenes are depicted in fabric on Dante's leggings culminating in the mouse becoming an eagle. What a cool way to retell a story.
