[Cleveland, TN] — [May 6,2025] — Stuart Elementary School is proud to announce its recognition as a Capturing Kids’ Hearts National Showcase School for the fourth consecutive year, a prestigious honor awarded by the Flippen Group to schools that exemplify excellence in creating safe, supportive, and relationship-centered learning environments.
Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) is a national program focused on building meaningful relationships between students and educators, cultivating a culture of respect, accountability, and high achievement. Earning the Showcase School designation signifies that Stuart has not only implemented the CKH processes with fidelity but has also demonstrated outstanding results in school climate, student connectedness, and individual student academic gains.

Each year, the Flippen Group evaluates schools through a rigorous nomination and selection process, analyzing data, staff feedback, and on-campus observations. Only a select group of schools across the country meet the high standards required for Showcase School status.
At Stuart, Capturing Kids’ Hearts strategies are embedded into daily practices, from positive student interactions like greetings and affirmations to using collaborative social contracts that promote mutual respect. This approach has led to stronger relationships, reduced behavioral referrals, and a positive school environment where both students and staff thrive.
