new assistant principal at Blythe-Bower

Cleveland City Schools is excited to announce Mrs. Sarah Towe as a new Assistant Principal of Blythe-Bower Elementary School.

Mrs. Towe brings more than 20 years of experience in education, along with a deep commitment to helping students grow, supporting teachers, and building strong relationships with families. A familiar face in Cleveland City Schools, Mrs. Towe has served the district in several roles throughout her career, including classroom teacher, RTI facilitator, and most recently, Interim Assistant Principal at Candyโ€™s Creek Cherokee Elementary School.

Her work has centered on supporting students and staff in meaningful ways. From helping guide academic interventions and leading data team meetings to supporting behavior plans, assisting with student needs, and working closely with families, Mrs. Towe has consistently shown a heart for service and a strong belief in helping every child succeed.

She knows the importance of relationships, and I believe our students, staff, and families will quickly see how much she cares.โ€

Mrs. Towe began her career with Cleveland City Schools as a fifth grade teacher at Mayfield Elementary School, where she served from 2003 to 2010. She later continued her work in student support as an RTI facilitator at Mayfield, E.L. Ross Elementary, Yates Primary, and Candyโ€™s Creek Cherokee Elementary. Through those roles, she helped strengthen intervention practices, support classroom teachers, and guide students toward academic success.

Mrs. Towe said she is grateful for the opportunity to join the Blythe-Bower community and looks forward to serving alongside its students, staff, and families.

Cleveland City Schools Director Dr. Jeff Elliott said Mrs. Toweโ€™s experience and genuine care for students will be a strong asset to Blythe-Bower Elementary.

โ€œMrs. Sarah Towe has spent her career investing in students, teachers, and families across Cleveland City Schools,โ€ Elliott said. โ€œShe understands the importance of strong instruction, meaningful support, and trusting relationships. We are excited for her to bring that experience and heart to Blythe-Bower Elementary.โ€

Mrs. Towe will begin serving as Assistant Principal at Blythe-Bower Elementary School for the upcoming school year.
