Student Information

We are thrilled to welcome students to E.L. Ross Elementary School for the 2023-2024 school year! Please review some important information as we prepare for the new year!

Enrollment & Registration
If you haven't enrolled your child yet, please take a moment to do so as soon as possible. It's a simple process for both RETURNING and NEW students, and you can easily enroll on our enrollment page here. For returning students, please be aware that failure to enroll may result in withdrawal from school and the loss of their place in a class, and we definitely want to avoid that!

New School Hours
Cleveland City Schools will implement new school hours for the 2023-2024 academic year. Middle and high school students will attend classes from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., while elementary school students will attend from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The doors will open at 7:45 a.m., giving everyone a smooth start to the day.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our transportation department at 423-472-9576.

PowerSchool
We encourage our families to use PowerSchool to access essential information about their child's schedules, grades, and attendance. This powerful tool will keep you informed and engaged in your child's academic journey. Class placements for students at Ross Elementary will be mailed out on Monday, July 17th.

Additional Information
We're excited to inform you that all students will receive breakfast and lunch free of charge, ensuring that they have the nourishment they need for a productive day of learning.

Lastly, we want to remind parents that students arriving after 8:30 AM will be considered tardy and must be checked in by our office staff.

We are looking forward to a fantastic school year and can't wait to welcome you all back to Ross Elementary School. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
