We want to congratulate our 4 Blythe-Bower Chess Players that competed well and earned 2nd place this Saturday at the Region 2: 2025 Harry D. Sabine Tennessee State Classic Team Chess Tournament. Dennis Ferenchuk, Boston Ware, Kaden Ware, and Marshall Howard all had great focus and sportsmanship throughout each match. We finished regular play tied for 1st and narrowly lost in the playoff to earn 2nd in the Elementary Division. We will be competing at the State Team Competition at the end of March!! GO BOBCATS!

โ๏ธ๐ Harnessing the Power of the Sun! ๐โ๏ธ
Our 1st graders at Blythe-Bower are shining bright as young scientists in their project-based learning unit, "How Can We Use the Sun to Help Us?" ๐โจ Through hands-on exploration, they are investigating sunlight and heat by building their own solar ovens! ๐ฅ๐ซ From designing and constructing to testing and observing, these future innovators are discovering how the sunโs energy can be harnessed in creative and sustainable ways. ๐โป๏ธ

These two Bobcats are super excited to be prize winners for contests they entered at our Family Valentineโs Dance! Congrats!!

We're looking forward to a fun week celebrating literacy at Blythe-Bower!

Thanks to our students and families for joining us at our Family Valentineโs Dance! We hope you had as much fun as we had!

๐โจ Our Kindergarten students wrapped up their study on Royal Families with a magical Royal Ball! ๐โจ
Throughout this unit, they explored both fiction and nonfiction read-alouds about kings, queens, and royal traditions. ๐๐คด๐ธ These stories helped them understand the responsibilities and customs of royalty across history.
What a royal way to celebrate learning!
