Second graders from Arnold Elementary had a great day of learning at the Denning Center during todayโs Water Safety Event! ๐ฆ
Through a partnership with Cleveland Family YMCA Aquatics, students were taught essential life-saving skills, including how to safely enter and exit the water, basic floating and swimming techniques, and what to do in an emergency. They also learned the importance of wearing life jackets, recognizing water hazards, and how to help others safely by throwing a flotation device instead of entering the water.
Weโre proud of these students for building confidence and skills that will help keep them safe around water this summer and beyond. A big thank you to our partners who helped make this hands-on learning experience possible!

We can't wait to see our Arnold Families.

Our 3rd grade classes earned a well-deserved reward for having perfect attendance during TCAP testing! Today at recess, they celebrated by getting to pie Mr. Chai and Dr. Kahrs with shaving cream. Needless to say, this was the highlight of their week!
Enjoy these fun photos of our brave leaders taking shaving cream right to the face!
