We had an awesome 1st day to our Grandpeople Celebration! Thanks to all the families that came out! We will see the second half of our families tomorrow. We Are The One!
Kindergarten read a book with Ms. Matthews called "The Floor is Lava" and then had to put it to practice using only cups and popsicle sticks to save the cubes. They did a great job and tried many different ways to save their cubes!
Our ELL students and teachers are hard at work! They all learning all kinds of things, from colors to habitats. Arnold is so lucky to have a great ESL crew! We are excited to see how much they grow this year!
Tomorrow we will be celebrating College Day! Be sure to wear your favorite college gear! We are looking forward to seeing everyone's spirit!
Carton2Garden round 2! Kindergarten got to plant their seeds today and they had a blast! Thanks STEM and classroom teachers for helping get this together!
90 students were recognized at Arnold this morning for having Perfect Attendance for August. All students were recognized by Mr. Chai & Mr. Ingram and received a sparkly Attendance pencil. Thank you students and parents for putting school first and being here everyday.
1st grade started their Carton2Garden project yesterday! They will be growing, charting, observing, and documenting plant growth over the next several weeks. Our Teachers and Specialists are working together to make this a great experience for our kids!
We are so proud of our Arnold WAY students! These students were chosen by teachers because they show the Arnold WAY. W= Work Hard. A= Attitude Matters. Y= You Before Me. These students showed time and time again that they can be show responsibility, and be a good friend!
Cleveland City Schools will be closed on Monday, September 4th in honor of Labor Day. We will see everyone on Tuesday!
Mrs. Day's class celebrated finishing their fairy tales unit by making Jack and Jill hats and then practiced writing their numbers with shaving cream! What a great Friday!
