BLADE FRIENDLY LOCATIONS

Cleveland City Schools’ BLADE Project, Blended Learning and Digital Enhancement, seeks to blend innovative teaching and learning methods with technology. Our goal is to equip all Cleveland City Schools teachers and students from grades three and up, with a laptop. Unfortunately, not every student has access to the internet at home. With help from our community partners, we hope to provide internet access to students not just at school, but at other central locations as well. We are asking participating locations to place a BLADE project sticker in a prominent location so students without internet access at home, can find a place to connect to the web.

What does it mean to have a BLADE Project sticker on the door?
By placing a BLADE Project sticker on the door, community partners are indicating to students that they may access the Internet at that particular location. We ask that students will not be required to purchase anything in order to access the wireless network. However, businesses may put time limits on connectivity. Businesses may also require students to enter a password to connect to their wireless network.

Thank you to the following partners of Cleveland City Schools. By allowing our students to access online resources, they are helping to eliminate the digital divide and ensuring that our students are connected to the resources they need.
