We are excited to welcome our Kindergarten students to Cleveland City Schools! Our full-day Kindergarten program gives students the opportunity to learn reading, math, and science skills to prepare them for a successful educational journey.
Registration for Kindergarten will start on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at clevelandschools.org/kindergarten.
Cleveland City Schools will host a Kindergarten Enrollment event on Saturday, March 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Cleveland High School. This is a great opportunity for students entering Kindergarten for the 2023-2024 school year! Families and students will have the opportunity to meet their principal!
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS:
Students must be 5 years old on or before August 15, 2023.
Families must enroll their children at the school within their zone. You can find your School Zone here.
FAMILIES MUST BRING THE FOLLOWING:
Student’s proof of identity (birth certificate preferred)
Student’s complete immunization health record from a licensed physician
Two MMR vaccinations
Three Hepatitis B vaccinations
Two Hepatitis A vaccinations
Five DPT vaccinations
Four Polio vaccinations
Two Chicken Pox vaccinations
Proof of residence, which can include a lease agreement, electric, water, or gas bill with the name and address of the parent/guardian.

Arnold Memorial Elementary 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.
Mayfield Elementary 8:45 - 9:45 a.m.
Blythe-Bower Elementary 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Candy's Creek Cherokee Elementary 12:00 - 1:30 p.m.
Stuart Elementary 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Yates Primary 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.
