Cleveland High School is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Donald Benton as its newest Assistant Principal.
With 18 years of experience in education, Mr. Benton brings a wealth of knowledge and a diverse background to our school community. He has been an integral part of Cleveland High School since 2021, serving in various leadership capacities, including Operations Coordinator and most recently, BLADE Facilitator. His dedication to student success and innovative approach to teaching have earned him recognition among our staff and students alike.
Before becoming a Blue Raider, Mr. Benton served as a Band Director for Walker Valley High School, where he managed more than 200 students. His experience in leading large groups and his dedication to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed positions him as a top candidate for the Assistant Principal position.
In his new role, Mr. Benton will work closely with the school administration, faculty, and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students. His responsibilities will include curriculum development, student discipline, and fostering a positive school culture that values diversity and inclusivity.
