Update to Parent Responsibility Zones for the 2022-2023 School Year

Cleveland City Schools’ Operations Department would like to inform you of the Parent Responsibility Zones (PRZ) for the 2022-2023 School Year. A Parent Responsibility Zone (PRZ) is an area within 1.5 miles of school that allows for either safe walking or parent transportation. Many school systems across the state have bus driver shortages ahead of the upcoming school year. Cleveland City Schools will start the school year with a few gaps in our routes due to this shortage of bus drivers. Therefore, there will be an increase in areas where parents are responsible for getting their children to and from school. Some schools may not have a PRZ due to road construction or other safety issues.
